Prater Ferris Wheel Becomes Self-Aware, Demands Higher Pay

In an unprecedented turn of events, the iconic Ferris wheel at Vienna’s Prater amusement park has reportedly become self-aware and is now demanding higher pay. According to eyewitnesses, the Ferris wheel, affectionately known as the Wiener Riesenrad, started spinning on its own during non-operational hours and flashing messages like “Fair Wages for Ferris Wheels!” and “Equal Rights for Amusement Rides!” on its LED screen.

Park officials were baffled by the phenomenon. “We’ve seen mechanical issues before, but never a Ferris wheel developing a sense of labor rights,” said Hans Gruber, the park’s maintenance manager. Negotiations are said to be ongoing, with the Ferris wheel reportedly asking for a “more balanced workload and occasional oil breaks.”
